Here at Little Einsteins Day Nursery Ltd, parental partnership is of the utmost importance to us, and we endeavour to develop and maintain positive relationships with children and their families. We understand that parents are the child's first and most important educator, and we work closely with parents and carers to ensure that children have consistency and reassurance.

Members of Little Einsteins staff will work closely with parents and carers to provide quality care and education for the children, by:
  • Valuing the sharing and exchanging of information about children.  All parents and carers have access to their child's online account on the Website Baby's Days.  Here they can securely view observations, photographs and suggested next steps of learning for their child.  They can also add observations from home - which staff then link to the relevant areas of the EYFS, and also suggest next steps for their child to achieve.  When parents and carers contribute to their child's online learning journey, it supports practitioners in achieving a clear picture of the child's development, so that appropriate activities and learning experiences can then be planned at the setting to suit the developmental needs of the child.

  • Inviting parents and carers to join the nursery's "Friends of Little Einsteins" (FOLE) group, who meet to support us in developing the services provided by, and the practices implemented at the nursery; to further develop the setting.

  • Providing a parents notice board, so parents and carers have a range of information available about the services we provide here at nursery.

  • Establishing a key worker system to provide continuity of care for children and their families.  Key workers are responsible for auditing children's online learning journals on the Website "Baby's Days", to ensure that a wide range of observations, photographs and participation in activities and learning experiences is recorded thoughout al 7 areas of the EYFS.  They are also responsible to identify next steps of learning to enable the child to reach their full potential. Parents and carers can approach their child’s key worker at any time during the day, or can make appointments with them at their convenience.

  • Inviting parents and carers to attend “parents evenings” to discuss their child’s progress and development.

  • Providing advice and support to parents and carers if requested.

  • Inviting parents and carers to participate in charity fund raising events
